Your Support Provides Shelter to Students Making Candles
Thousands of students every year learn how to make candles at Sutter's Fort State Historic Park as part of educational programs. During a storm in March of 2018, the temporary tent canopy was destroyed. We are currently raising funds to help California State Parks build a new structure to replace and improve upon what was lost.
Your donations will help us rebuild the structure stronger and better than before. A new structure will be built to be appropriate in the historic site, and able to withstand winds and rains and extreme heat.
