Haunted Fort 2018: October 27
October 27, 2018 @ 6:30PM — 9:30PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Want to experience a fun and family friendly Halloween within the walls of one of California's most historic structures? Join Friends of Sutter's Fort this October for Haunted Fort, a unique opportunity to explore Sutter's Fort State Historic Park after dark!
Friends of Sutter's Fort invites you to stroll the weathered courtyards and storied rooms of Sutter's Fort by moonlight for an after dark experience you won't want to miss!
Participants of all ages will enjoy fun opportunities to learn more about history. Docents dressed in historic attire will be waiting for you at interactive stations throughout Sutter's Fort, ready to share their spooky and disturbing stories from pioneer life in the 1800s.
Plus, B Street Theatre will be back again with an all new original 8-minute play inspired by the history of Sutter's Fort!
All proceeds from Haunted Fort support the ongoing efforts of Friends of Sutter's Fort, which works to preserve, protect, and enhance Sutter's Fort State Historic Park and to support the educational and interpretative programs at the park.

Select your Haunted Fort tickets based on which B Street Theatre performance you would like to attend. The time you select will reserve your seat for the short play performed by B Street Theatre. All ticket holders are welcome to arrive anytime after the gates open and stay until closing time at 9:30 pm. We encourage participants to plan to spend at least 90 minutes at Sutter's Fort to enjoy all of the stations and explore the rooms of the Fort at night!
Please arrive at the Fort at least 10 minutes before your B Street performance begins. You will need to check-in at the East Gate to receive admission into the Fort Distillery Room where the performance will take place.
New this year, attendees are encouraged to download Zamquest, a treasure hunt app in order to participate in a free treasure hunt during Haunted Fort. Participants will receive Halloween treats after successfully completing the game during the event.
No food or beverages other than water are allowed inside Sutter's Fort.
