In this delicious evening tour, you'll be treated to a 1 hour walking tour of Sutter's Fort State Historic Park. You'll learn about the people who lived, worked, and visited Sutter's Fort during it's storied past, sampling chocolate inspired treats along the way!

Guided evening tours at Sutter's Fort are a rare treat - with only one other evening tour currently offered (our beloved Candlelight Tours held every November). Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to explore Sutter's Fort and indulge your sweet tooth!

All proceeds from this event will support the ongoing efforts of the Friends of Sutter's Fort, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization that collaborates every day with California State Parks to preserve and protect historic structures and artifacts, and to engage visitors of all generations with meaningful educational experiences.

  • Tickets are non-refundable or transferable.
  • This event will take place regardless of weather. Please come prepared if there is rain or heat.

EVENT TICKET DETAILS

  • Each guided tour is scheduled for approximately 1 hour and guests are welcome to stay afterwards to enjoy cake and other treats in the designated serving area.
  • Sutter's Fort grounds may be dark and footing is uneven. It is important that tour groups stay together.
  • Restrooms are available before or after your tour as there are no stops during the program.
  • Please check-in at least 5 minutes before your scheduled tour time. If you are not present, your spot may be given to wait listed guests. Each tour is limited in size and cannot accommodate additional guests.
  • No food or beverages other than water allowed inside Sutter's Fort.
  • Participants must wear closed toe shoes, and we encourage participants not to wear high heels.
